1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI-StoryForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

AI-StoryForge is an AI-powered story outline generation service. Users provide story ideas, parameters, and creative direction, and the Service generates structured narrative outlines. The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees regarding the quality, accuracy, or suitability of generated content for any particular purpose.

3. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Not create accounts for the purpose of abusing the Service or its token system.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Tokens & Billing

The Service operates on a token-based system. New accounts receive a set number of sample tokens. Additional tokens may be purchased through our billing system. Key billing terms:

  • Tokens are consumed when you generate story outlines.
  • Purchased tokens are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • Token prices are subject to change; existing purchased tokens will not be affected by price changes.
  • We reserve the right to modify the token cost of operations as the Service evolves.

5. Intellectual Property

You own your stories. All story outlines generated through the Service are your intellectual property. You retain full ownership and rights to any content created using AI-StoryForge, including the right to publish, modify, distribute, and commercialize your outlines and any works derived from them.

The AI-StoryForge name, logo, and service design are the intellectual property of AI-StoryForge and may not be used without permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent rate limits, token systems, or other safeguards.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service itself without authorization.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI-StoryForge and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or creative work, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
